Introducing Francine Hawkins-Alegeh, an accomplished African American entrepreneur leading Alegeh Drafting Services, a specialized company providing drafting and design solutions across industries such as AV, Engineering, Construction, Retail Space Planning, Lab Furniture Design, and Restaurant Equipment Layout. With over 24 years in AV, serving as a CAD Designer, Design Engineer, and Project Manager, Francine brings extensive experience, having worked with renowned companies like M3 Technology Group, TD Industries, Diversified, AVI-SPL, AVW-Telav, Comnet Communications, and Whitlock.

Francine has contributed to major projects throughout her career, including McDonald's restaurant designs with H&K International, Lab Furniture designs at VWR International, and Retail Space Planning at Michaels Corp. She expertly uses software such as AutoCAD R14-2024, Revit, SolidWorks, and FireCAD to craft detailed drawing packages for permits, new construction, and as-builts. Since founding Alegeh Drafting Services in 2007, she has continuously expanded her company’s reach and impact.

Beyond drafting and design, Francine is the founder of F. D. Hawkins Painting and Remodeling, a residential painting and remodeling business established in 2003. With over 30 years of construction experience, a degree in Construction Management, and a Superintendent Certificate from Dallas College, she serves low-income families and seniors in Dallas’ southern sector. Her projects include exterior painting, kitchen tile remodeling, and more, spanning Carrollton, Arlington, Duncanville, Mesquite, Garland, Dallas, and Ennis.

Francine’s commitment to lifelong learning is reflected in her extensive credentials. She holds a Master of Science in Technology Management, Real Estate Certificates, and Basic and Advanced Fire Alarm Design Certificates. Additionally, she is certified in CAPM (Certified Associate in Project Management) and CTS (Certified Technology Specialist). Her expertise spans Construction Law, Specifications, Commercial Construction Contracts, Project Management, and Coordination, further reinforcing her holistic approach to business.
